Ahhh... Marina del Rey in the Bronx, NY. In my humble opinion one of the finest catering facilities in New York. Conveniently located under the Throgs Neck Bridge the venue offers, as seen in this photograph, stunning waterfront views of the Whitestone Bridge and The NYC skyline beyond. The ballrooms are breathtaking, the lobby areas are elegant, the food is spectacular and the views are incredible. Oh wait; I already mentioned that. This is one of my favorite wedding images ever as well as one of my most successful award-winning competition images. It has garnered awards on the local Long Island level in the image competition of PPGNY (Professional Photographers of Greater New York). It has won an award at the state level in the annual competition of PPSNYS (Professional Photographers Society of New York State) and it received an "Accolade of Excellence" at WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) in their annual 16 X 20 print, album and filmmaking competition.I have an entire sample album from this event in my studio for you to peruse. It was a truly memorable event starting with an absolutely beautiful bride, her handsome groom and their HUGE bridal party. Each bridesmaid wore a different color dress and all of the groomsmen wore tuxedos with colored ties to match. Before going to Marina del Rey for photographs before the ceremony I photographed the bride and her bridesmaids on the world famous Coney Island boardwalk in Brooklyn, NY. Are you considering having your wedding at Marina del Rey? If so you owe it to yourself to visit my studio and see some of the fantastic images I have created at this special waterfront New York City venue. I am called upon to photograph weddings here regularly and am totally comfortable working with their professional staff. Did I mention the spectacular views at sunset?
