best Long Island NY Hamptons beach wedding photographer

There is something wonderful about a beach wedding and no one knows that better than a Long Island bride and groom. The Island is, after all, surrounded by water and lined with beautiful beaches from end to end. You could be planning a wedding on the south fork... Montauk or the Hamptons. Perhaps you are considering Fire Island as the venue for your beachfront event. There are dozens of waterfront venues on Long Island and I have experience working at all of them. Some of my Nassau County favorites include The Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park, The Riviera in Massapequa, Wall’s Wharf and The Crescent Beach Club in Bayville and The Allegria Hotel on the boardwalk in Long Beach. Further out in Suffolk County I have experience shooting at The Venetian Yacht Club in Babylon, New York, Chateau LaMer in Lindenhurst, The Riviera in Massapequa, Captain Bill’s in Bay Shore, Land’s End and the Bourne Mansion in Sayville, The Snapper Inn in Oakdale and Sunset Harbor and Lombardi’s on the Bay in Patchogue. Heading out on the south fork brings me to some of my favorite venues. Oceanbleu at the Westhampton Bath and Tennis Club in Westhampton Beach is one of my favorite ocean front venues on the island. I’ve done numerous beachfront weddings in Southampton, Bridehampton, East Hampton and Amagansett. And who doesn’t love the great destinations in Montauk? Gurneys, The Montauk Yacht Club and Montauk Manor are some of the most amazing venues Long Island has to offer. Back up on the north shore of Suffolk County some notable waterfront venues include The Harbor Club at Prime in Huntington, Lombardi’s on the Sound at Harbor Hills at the Port Jefferson Country Club and Giorgio’s (technically not on the water, but they have access to a private beach which is just minutes away in your private chauffeured transport.Taking pictures on the beach poses some unique challenges for your photographer. Make sure he or she has extensive experience shooting in direct sunlight along with a battery of high powered flash units to make those unflattering shadows disappear from your faces. Being a Long Island wedding photographer for more than 30 years has given me extensive experience in shooting on all of our beaches under a wide array of weather conditions. I love the casual, relaxed atmosphere of beach portraits and waterfront wedding receptions and welcome the opportunity to talk to you about your plans for a spectacular waterfront wedding celebration of your own.
