Best Vineyard Caterers Macari Raphael Winery Wedding Photography

Love this picture and just loved working with this wedding couple. From the first minute I met them I knew we were a great fit and were going to create some amazing photographs together. The groom rides a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and, if you read my biography on this web site you’ll know that I’ve been riding for more than 40 years. We had that interest in common going for us right away. The absolutely stunningly beautiful bride wanted a photographer who would make her look sexy, make her look elegant and make her feel as important as every bride wants to feel on her wedding day. Finally...the couple wished to take some photographs that they couldn’t possibly do on their wedding day, so they commissioned me to do one of my post-wedding couture wedding sessions to insure that I captured every little nuance of their love for each other, the things they enjoy doing together and where they like to do so together.Their actual wedding day revolved around their fantastic wedding reception at the Bourne Mansion in Sayville, NY. One of the many mansions that exist on Long Island, New York, the Bourne Mansion provides an amazing backdrop for your wedding day with it’s intimate bridal suite, elegant meeting rooms and it’s luxurious grand ballroom. The property overlooks the Great South Bay past it’s sprawling lawn and shares it’s St John’s University property with a building that was formerly occupied by LaSalle Military Academy. The architecture is outstanding...inside and out. The catering service is impeccable. The photo opportunities, from the tree lined drive up to the mansion, to the elegant interior, to the scenic exterior views are rivaled by none. But to this couple, their wedding day photography was not enough. The east end of Long Island...in particular the wine country of the north fork, home to many of the world’s finest vineyards...is an area of great importance to this bride and groom. So a second day couture wedding photography session was arranged and I rode out to meet the couple on my own Harley-Davidson motorcycle as they waited out east on their’s for my arrival. After taking some pictures in jeans and leather vests we enjoyed a small meal with the couple while waiting for the great light at dusk. The bride and groom changed out of their "biker"outfits...the groom casually wearing a suit without a jacket and the bride rocking a sexy little white dress. As the sun began to set we created this image in a field across the street from The Martha Clara Vineyard on Sound Avenue in Riverhead, New York. Martha Clara is one of the many vineyards on the north fork of Suffolk County, Long Island. Quite a few of them are engaged in catering wedding receptions these days. I have had the pleasure of photographing events at Macari Vineyard, Raphael Vineyard, Martha Clara Vineyard, Bedell Vineyard and The Vineyard Caterers. The old abandoned truck served as the perfect prop in this pasture background. Then we found this rustic looking barn (pictured) and the bride posed there like a top fashion model, enjoying every minute of the photography session. The print was toned in sepia afterwards to give it this vintage feel. We finished the session with an amazing sunset on a beach on Long Island Sound. More than a few pictures from this session are here on my web site for your perusal. Their entire wedding album, composed of more than 200 pictures from their wedding day and this session is on display in my studio and gallery. I would love to show it to you.I love doing these pre-wedding or post-wedding couture photography sessions. It is a joy to collaborate with the couples who engage in these sessions and to create the kind of images that capture their true personalities in locations that are truly special to them. Without any time constraints we have all the time we need to create the most amazing of photographic masterpieces for you. I firmly believe that your wedding album is the first heirloom a couple creates as man and wife and that it something that will be shared with, and enjoyed by, generations to come. Doing a couture wedding photography session may not be for everyone, but those that make the commitment to do so make the ultimate statement about their love for each other and the things they love to do together. I would love to be entrusted with the responsibility of capturing all of your memories on your wedding day and I live for the privilege and pleasure of engaging in a truly creative endeavor...your second day couture photography session.
