If you’ve been paying attention as you peruse this web site you will have noted that I spend a lot of time photographing weddings at some of the most beautiful mansions of Long Island. Some of these mansions rival any in the world. Oheka Castle comes to mind instantly. Then there’s the deSeversky Mansion, The Glen Cove Mansion, The Royalton Mansion and this one, The Bourne Mansion in Sayville, New York. These fine establishments not only offer spectacular photo opportunities but also offer world class catering for your wedding reception. Other mansions on Long Island are visited simply as backdrops for amazing wedding pics. Some of those include Coe Hall at Planting Fields Arboretum, Fortunoff Hall at Dowling College, The mansions at Old Westbury Gardens, The Bayard Cutting Arboretum, Mill Neck Manor and C.W. Post College. In this photograph the bride was peering out the window of her bridal suite where she and her bride’s maids had just finished preparing for the big day ahead. Looking out into the cobblestone courtyard below she could see her groom and his ushers arriving at the site. In a few short moments she would descend the grand stairway for the reveal...the first look the groom would get of his bride in her fabulous wedding dress. If you are planning a wedding at any of Long Island’s stunning mansions and estates give me a call. I have lots of experience working at all of them and love the chance to create elegant and exciting wedding images at all of them.
