Fast Reliable Professional Motorsports Photographer

In my discussions with the editors and art directors of the various magazines and internet based motorsports web sites I work with a few common complaints seem to surface about other contributors. First and foremost is delivery time and meeting deadlines. Seems everyone is in a hurry to get credentialed to photograph at a particular event, but after the event has ended they are in no rush to get the finished artwork to their editors. There is simply no excuse for that in this amazing digital age we live in. When I’m off to a racing venue on assignment I don’t carry just my camera gear bag. I have a second bag packed with a laptop computer, portable hard drives and all of the software I need to run through my entire post production process. After an event I settle in at my studio (or at my hotel if it is a multi-day event) and immediately start culling through the hundreds of images I captured at the speed contest. Basic editing, color correction and density corrections are made as needed and the images are uploaded to a private web gallery that can be accessed by my editor for viewing within a couple of hours of the day’s racing. Once the editor makes his or her choices as to which images they will run I will do complete retouching and enhancement on those images and promptly provide exquisitely finished final images for publication…sometimes on the very same evening as the race! The quality of these final finished images is extraordinary with appropriate color saturation, contrast and sharpening applied; as well as cloning out of any background distractions…in short: finished images ready for print or publishing. When extraordinary deadlines need to be met I can work with you on that as well. My state-of-the-art cameras are WiFi enabled. I have literally taken a picture of the driver in the winner’s circle at victory lane, sent it to my iPhone and beamed it over to my editor…the picture appearing online while the victory celebration was still taking place. If you want to work with a creative, enthusiastic professional motorsports photographer who respects the deadline restrictions of publishers give me a call.
