Flying Lizard Motorsports PWC Photographer

This outstanding picture of the Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche Cayman was taken at Lime Rock Park on Memorial Day Weekend of 2017. Driver, Rodrigo Baptista, was piloting the car down the backstretch of the Lime Rock road course on his way to winning the GT class race during The Pirelli World Challenge. Lime Rock is one of the most beautiful road race courses anywhere and is a motorsports photographer’s dream. Surrounded by deep woods in northwest Connecticut, with the Housatonic River flowing alongside the front stretch, Lime Rock offers the most comfortable, casual race atmosphere of almost every track I‘ve ever worked at. The GT divisions of the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) are some of my favorite race vehicles to photograph. Modern cars with stunning paint jobs being piloted by some of the best racers in the world. What a combination! Whether you go to Lime Rock for the Pirelli World Challenge or the IMSA WeatherTech Series you can be assured of one thing… Seeing some of the most beautiful cars in the world; both on the track and in the spectator parking corrals. I absolutely love photographing road course races... both automobile and motorcycle contests. In addition to Lime Rock I have photographed road course events at Watkins Glen International, New Hampshire motor Speedway (NHMS), Thompson Motor Speedway and New Jersey Motorsports Park. I have also covered NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events at New England Dragway and Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. Men have been racing cars ever since they built the second one. My passion is to capture the drama of those speed contests in a dynamic way with my camera. If you are a magazine editor looking for coverage of an upcoming event give me a call. If you are a race team owner or sponsor in need of some new public relations imaging give me a call. I love photographing all things motor sports. I’d love to work with you on your next project.
