Awesome Long Island LI NYC CT Wedding Photos.
This elegant bridal portrait was captured at Binney Park in Greenwich, CT. Often times I am asked by my brides what will happen if it rains on her wedding day. Part of my answer is that there is seldom a complete washout but rather only passing showers. Such was the case when we arrived at these picturesque grounds for this formal portrait session. Less than five minutes into the session it started raining. We sought shelter in a rustic stone pavilion in the park and the rain ended within 5 minutes. Ten minutes later it started raining again and we had to sit out this storm for about ten minutes. By the time we finished this park session the sun was out and the grounds were dry. Cloudy, overcast days are the absolute best for photography. The soft, diffused light lends itself to beautiful natural light photographs. On bright sunny days we find ourselves seeking out the cover of trees to keep from placing our subjects in the harsh direct sunlight which casts horrible shadows on people’s faces and causes people to squint. Though my studio is located in East Northport, Long Island, New York I often find myself photographing weddings anywhere in the New York Metropolitan Tri-State area.
