Best NYC Waldorf Astoria Wedding Photography

One of my favorite fun bridal party pictures. This image was simply titled "New York, NY" when I entered it into various professional photography competitions. It won awards from the local level all the way up to the international level, garnering a silver Accolade of Excellence at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) Print, Album and Filmmaking competition.I’ll never forget this wedding. The bride and groom were so enthusiastic and their wedding photography was one of their most important concerns. They gave me all the time in the world and we created an amazing photographic keepsake for them. We started our day in Brooklyn, NY where the groom and his groomsmen were getting dressed. Then we went into New York City to a magnificent high rise condo overlooking the East River where the bride and her bridesmaids were preparing for the day ahead. The reveal took place on the luxurious rooftop gardens overlooking all of Manhattan. After seeing each other for the first time we gathered up the entire bridal party, climbed into a super stretch limousine and proceeded to travel all around NYC hitting the couple’s favorite spots. We took pictures at Columbus Circle, Times Square, The Waldorf Astoria Hotel (where the bride and groom were going to be spending the night in the awesome bridal suite). We took pictures in a horse-drawn carriage we even went into the FAO Schwartz toy store for some really fun pictures. We kept heading downtown taking pictures along the way at the famous landmark Flatiron Building and under the arch at Washington Square Park. Finally we headed out to Long Island and stopped at "Dumbo" (which is an acronym for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) for the picture you’re looking at here with the New York City skyline in the background. The journey ended and the wedding celebration began at The Venetian Yacht Club, on the Great South Bay waterfront in Babylon, NY. A beautiful twilight wedding ceremony was followed by cocktails and a dinner reception with dancing going ‘til the wee hours of the morning. I’m thinking this was probably the longest wedding day of my career, having left my home at about 6:00AM and returning home about 2:00AM the next day! It was all worth it for the incredible images we created with this fun couple and their amazing friends.
