Couture Wedding Photography Sessions LI NYC CT
This is one of my favorite wedding images. It was captured on the tranquil grounds of Binney Park in Greenwich Connecticut. What started out as a beautiful day weather wise quickly deteriorated as the photo session started. We had to seek shelter on two separate occasions in the main pavilion of this quaint park. The rains quickly departed and had a very positive effect. All of the other park visitors had left the area and we were left, for all practical purposes, with the entire park to ourselves. I love this park. There are multiple bridges spanning the numerous ponds on the property. The stone bridges are particularly elegant. I love the quiet, private moment that the bride and groom are sharing here. I shot this picture from a distance without intruding on the couple’s intimate moment, taking in all the beauty of the landscape and the fieldstone bridge. The couple’s reflection in the water, as well as the reflection of the bridge itself, makes for a wonderful composition. This image was created as part of a second day shoot. The logistics and itinerary of the couple’s actual wedding day did not allow for a trip to this park…a spot that is very special to them. We got together after the wedding day for this session and created dozens of awesome pics at this venue that was so important to them..
