deSeversky Glen Cove Oheka Vanderbilt Mansion Wedding Photography

Another elegant picture taken at one of Long Island, New York’s Gold Coast mansions. There are many of them and I’ve had the experience of working at all of them: Oheka Castle in Huntington, NY; The Glen Cove Mansion, The deSeversky Mansion and Conference Center in Old Westbury, Mill Neck Manor, The Bourne Mansion, Coe Hall at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, The Royalton at Roslyn Country Club. This particular image was created inside the Vanderbilt Mansion in Centerport, NY. This bride had reserved the grounds of the Vanderbilt Museum for her wedding photography session. Our plan was to create beautiful wedding pictures in the courtyard of the castle-like mansion and then move off to the boxwood gardens which overlook Northport Harbor and The Long Island Sound. Unfortunately Mother Nature was not cooperative on this day so we were forced to stay indoors for pictures. A great wedding photographer will not be fazed by inclement weather. I use it as my inspiration to create dynamic wedding photography for my clients even if the weather is less than perfect. Therein lies the true definition of a "Professional" photographer...one who has all the skills and passion to create great images regardless of circumstances. If you would like to collaborate with a photographer like that, give me a shout.
