Elegant LI Long Island New York NYC Wedding Photography
I love this intimate moment being shared by the newlyweds. The groom seems to be dedicating a song to his new bride as she looks on adoringly. This image was created on the second floor of the beautiful Crestwood Manor, located in the upscale neighborhood of Fort Salonga, New York. (A Suffolk County, Long Island neighborhood that shares it’s zip code with the Village of Northport). By balancing the warm ambient light in the room with the light being cast by my photographic assistant’s remote-controlled off camera light I was able to capture this image with a near spot light effect on the bride and groom in an otherwise soft, dreamy location. All great wedding photographers work with the help of a skilled photographic assistant on all of their assignments. Lighting is the most important element in any great wedding photograph and the only way to achieve dramatic directional off camera lighting in the wedding environment is by working with that skilled assistant...one that knows where to be, and when to be there, for any given shot. Be sure that the professional wedding photographer that you choose to capture all of the important moments of your wedding day is utilizing a lighting assistant to insure optimal quality in each and every one of your photos.
