Hyatt Regency Long Island Wedding Photographs

This beautiful window light portrait of the bride was taken early on the wedding day as the bride was preparing for the day ahead. In just a few short minutes the reveal would take place; where the groom would see his bride in her wedding dress for the very first time. That is always such an emotionally-charged moment and I love capturing the look on the groom’s face when he sees his lady at that instant. This image was captured in her bridal suite at The Hyatt Regency Long Island overlooking the Wind Watch Golf Club. Located at one of the highest points on Long Island the Hyatt Regency Long Island offers stunning views looking north as far as the Long Island Sound. After the reveal we would travel to The Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale, NY for a photo session with the wedding couple and their bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls and ring bearers. The Bayard Cutting Arboretum is one of the most beautiful venues for wedding photography in New York. It’s near 700 acres are impeccably maintained and features specimens from all around the world. The mansion on the property has a huge sprawling lawn which ends on the shore of The Great South Bay facing Fire Island. Following the photo session we all travelled to the ceremony and reception venue, Villa Lombardi’s, in Holbrook, NY. A beautiful outdoor twilight wedding ceremony was followed up by one of the legendary Lombardi’s cocktail hours and then a dinner reception with dancing late into the evening.
