LI Waterfront Sunset Weddings Photos Long Island
A waterfront wedding. A lot of Long Island, New York brides, having grown up on a parcel of land completely surrounded by water, look for waterfront venues for their wedding celebrations. There are literally dozens of them. Russo’s on the Bay, The Allegria Hotel in Long each, Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park, The Riviera in Massapequa, Captain Bills in Bay Shore, NY, The Snapper Inn, Timber Point Country Club in Oakdale, The Bourne Mansion in Sayville, Lombardi’s on the Bay in Patchogue, Sunset Harbor, Oceanbleu in Westhampton Beach, Gurney’s Inn and The Montauk Yacht Club in Montauk. On the North Shore you will find The Swan Club in Roslyn Harbor, The Crescent Beach Club in Bayville, The Harbor Club at Prime in Huntington, Lombardi’s on the Sound in the Belle Terre section of Port Jefferson. One of my favorite waterfront wedding reception venues is the one pictured here: The Venetian Yacht Club, located on Fire Island Avenue in the quaint waterside village of Babylon, NY. I have photographed more weddings than I could ever remember at this establishment over the years. The one constant is that it never fails to yield a beautiful sunset photograph for the bride and groom. This view is from the main deck overlooking the Great South Bay. Looking east you can see the Robert ones Bridge in the background spanning the water from the mainland to Fire Island.
