Long Island NY Destination Wedding Photographer
This photograph was created during one of my post wedding couture photography sessions. I offer these sessions to special couples who are looking for more than the average wedding photography services that the majority of New York’s wedding photographers offer. This particular couple held their wedding reception at a North Shore Long Island, NY catering venue but had a vision to create some really artistic images...pictures that really captured their true spirits and personalities...that they didn’t have time for on the wedding day. These couture sessions are a second day of shooting done at location(s) of your choice. Sometimes they are held in New York City using Grand Central Station, the NYC Library, Central Park, Times Square, Washington Square Park and the New York City skyline as backdrops. I have done sessions on the north fork of Long Island in the wine country using the splendid backdrops of Long Island’s famous wineries. The image you are looking at here was done right in my East Northport, New York studio before we headed out to some local parks and ultimately to the beach at sunset. The so-called "trash-the-dress" sessions were popular a few years back. Today couture sessions are all the rage. They usually revolve around creating dramatic and dynamic images...extraordinary wedding photographs... that would be impossible to coordinate logistically on the actual wedding day. More often they are a creative collaboration between myself and my clients wherein we create masterpiece images that really say something about the couple’s passions and personalities.
