New York City NYC Central Park Wedding Pictures

As an experienced New York City professional wedding photographer I have taken wedding photographs in Central Park on more occasions then I could ever remember. One of the most iconic spots within Central Park is The Bethesda Terrace section. The terrace itself is home to Bethesda Fountain. Because of it’s proximity to the geographical center of the world-renowned park, Central Park co-designer Calvert Vaux called Bethesda Fountain "The Centre of the Centre." Adjacent to the fountain and it’s large circular promenade you will find Bethesda Tunnel which passes under the heavy traffic of Central Park Drive, the road that traverses Central Park from the East to West sides of Manhattan. This Central Park wedding photograph was taken inside the north end of Bethesda Tunnel using just the available light that finds it’s way into the tube. Photographers live for quality "North Light" and the north end of Bethesda Tunnel never fails to produce beautiful soft light for elegant wedding portraits. I love taking wedding photos in NYC’s legendary park. A typical wedding photography shoot will involve a walk through the park from Central Park South to Bethesda Terrace and back. The photo opportunities are everywhere in this lush parkland within the confines of the world’s greatest city. Often the brides and grooms that I take into Central Park for wedding photos are hosting their wedding receptions at one of the luxury NYC hotels located at Central Park South...The Plaza, The Pierre, The Essex House or The Waldorf Astoria. If you are planning an upscale NYC wedding event, or if you simply want to create some amazing wedding images in Central Park, give me a call. I would love to collaborate with you.
