I specialize in travel photography. Mostly on long distance excursions far away from my Northport, Long Island home. This image, however, was created just a few miles from home. Vacationing on Long Island, NY is often thought of a summer activity only. After all, we are surrounded be water. Wonderful beaches including those on the Atlantic Ocean. This image shows another side of Long island’s beauty. The colors displayed during Mother Nature’s annual fall foliage show...This image was captured using my Nikon Z6II camera equipped with the Nikkor Z 24-200mm zoom lens. I feel this is the ideal lens for a travel photographer due to it’s diminutive size and light weight.
