Collectible Fine Art Photography Point Judith Rhode Island

Yet another image captured on one of my many long range motorcycle adventures. This image was taken at Point Judith, Rhode Island. I was on the road to visit Block Island for the first time in my life. Though located just 16 miles from Montauk Point, NY I had never made the ferry trip over to tour the island. By the time I decided to do so there was no more vehicle ferry service from Long Island to Block Island so I had to reach Point Judith to catch vehicle ferry service over to Block Island. Arriving at Point Judith in the evening I walked onto the beach across the street from my motel. The evening sun was setting and casting long shadows of the storm fence across the sand. A beautiful pastel sky was beyond and I stopped to take a series of photographs of this tranquil scene...this one being my favorite. The next morning I would mount my Harley-Davidson motorcycle and board the ferry to Block Island and by the next evening I would add another beautiful sunset image of the North Lighthouse on Block Island to my body of work.
