Fall Foliage on Long Island
Sometimes the best photographs can be found close to home. This image was captured in my home town of Northport, NY. Though I am recognized as a travel photographer, I only went two miles from home to capture this image on my Nikon Z6II camera…part of my mobile imaging kit...The autumn season is one of my favorites. The colorful display of fall foliage in New York is not exclusive to the mountainous regions of The Catskills and Adirondacks. The beauty of Long Island doesn’t end with fall foliage either. The lighthouse at Montauk Point is one of my favorite subjects. I even wrote an in-depth photography tutorial surrounding an image captured at that iconic structure...I invite you to visit the Roadcraft USA Website to read more about my travels by motorcycle and more advanced photography lessons.
