Motorcycle Tour and Travel Photography Twisty Windy Ohio Road Pictures
"Heading southwest out of Columbus I travel through wonderful little towns with names like Pleasant Corners, Grape Grove, Farmersville and Excello. I pass very few cars and no other motorcycles as I traverse miles of farm country. Unlike most other agricultural areas of the country where even the back farm roads are mostly long and straight, having formerly served as the property lines separating landowners; the roads in this part of Ohio are a motorcyclist’s delight…gentle sweeping turns over rolling hills with nothing but cows to keep me company. Moo. In three hours time I come across a sign saying that I am on one of Indiana’s Historic Pathways. I have traveled through a large portion of western Ohio, successfully bypassing the big cities of Dayton and Cincinnati, without riding on any road more than two lanes wide; some of which were barely two lanes wide"

The excerpt above is from my Amazon #1 best selling road travel book which is available in paperback and Kindle versions on Amazon as well as on Apple Books. If you love motorcycle travelogues give this one a read. As the author I may be just a little bit biased, but I happen to think it’s a great one.
This picture was captured somewhere in southwest Ohio using a Nikon Z6II mirrorless camera and a Nikkor zoom lens which I carry everywhere in the top case of my BMW motorcycle. The digital image was processed in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop software on my Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer, which also travels everywhere with me. As a photographer, author, writer, long distance motorcycle rider, educator and adventurer I am blessed to travel all throughout the United States and Canada; yet, oddly, this was the first time in nearly four decades of riding that I had the pleasure of riding in the state of Ohio. On this trip, in early spring of 2021 I also traveled through Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey before returning to my home on Long Island, New York. Quite an adventure, indeed. These kinds of journeys are what I live for. My photographic images and written words have reached the pages of many magazines and online resources in the photographic, motorcycle, motorsports, travel and hospitality industries. The images you see here on my web site are just a small portion of my body of stock photographic work (all of which is available for sale or lease) and I am available to discuss and undertake any creative project assignment that you may have in mind…preferably ones that can be accessed on two wheels. I’ll use any excuse to ride, you know.
