Northport NY waterfront pictures
This image was created in my home town of Northport, NY. The site is the Town of Huntington public beach at Village of Asharoken line. Taken at the end of a week long+ heat wave of extremely high temperatures and high humidity. A storm front was finally moving through the area with the promise of relief from the oppressive sticky summer weather. I captured the scene of the approaching storm with my Nikon Z6II mirrorless camera fitted with a 24-200mm Nikkor Z Series zoom lens. The image was enhanced in Lightroom and Photoshop to add drama to the storm clouds. The final step was the conversion from color to Black & White to yield the result you see here.
