Wedding Details Photos Rings Shoes Pictures
It’s all in the details! That was the title of an article I penned for the largest wedding and portrait photography magazine in the world back in 2008 or 2009. I stressed the importance of capturing images of all of the small details that every bride and groom choose when they set the theme for their wedding celebrations. The list is endless…The bride’s shoes, her wedding gown, the jewelry she wears. The style of her hair and make up. The wedding rings, her engagement ring. The flowers she will hold as well as those chosen for her bridesmaids, parents, the groom and his groomsmen. Gifts that the bride and groom may give to each other. The floral arrangements and programs for the wedding ceremony. Signs that adorn the ceremony location as well as those that are displayed at the wedding reception. Invitations, menus and other stationery. The champagne glasses, wedding cake, cake topper and utensils. The way the tables are set at the wedding reception from the choice of linens, flatware, glassware to the favors that may be left thereon for your wedding guests. Photographs of the reception room in all of it’s splendor before the wedding guests are seated. These are all must-have photographs that your wedding photographer should be capturing because after the wedding day they will be packed away, taken home or discarded. The pictures your professional wedding photographer takes may be the only memories you have of these important items after the wedding.
