best glen cove mansion wedding photographer NY

Some days everything just seems to work out. We had made plans long before the wedding day to take pictures with the bride and groom and their wedding party at Morgan Park (on the north shore of Nassau County, Long Island in the city of Glen Cove, New York). This park is very convenient to couples who are hosting their weddings at The Glen Cove Mansion...a catering venue that I love to work at. The harbor which leads out to the Long Island Sound is a stunning backdrop for wedding photography and we planned to make the most of the waterfront location. The only problem? It appeared as if Mother Nature was not going to cooperate. Storm clouds were rapidly rolling in as we commenced taking pictures in the park. We had walked about a half a mile from the parking lot where we had left the bridal party’s limousines and were afraid that we might get caught in a sudden deluge of rain. Our worst fears did not materialize and we created some awesome images under the dark clouds of the approaching storm.Any photographer can create a great image under ideal circumstances and I’m sure a lesser photographer might have gotten a great shot here that day, too. The real measures of a great wedding photographer are creativity, consistency and professionalism...the ability to tell the entire story under any circumstances on any given wedding day. Sure this is a great image but it is just one of about 250 images that made up this wonderful couple’s wedding album. In fact I have this couple’s wedding album on display in my studio and gallery and would love to show it to you. From the preparations shots at the bride and groom’s homes, through the Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony in their magnificent church through all the candid moments of their wedding reception, Martha and Ari (Aristotle) have a truly unique heirloom by which to remember their special day. I would love the opportunity to capture and tell your love story, too. Give me a shout and we’ll kick around some ides for your big day. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
