Best Long Island Photojournalistic Wedding Photography

Another great casual picture of a bride and groom looking at each other romantically. I am always asked by today’s brides to create images which look casual and spontaneous. They have heard of photojournalistic style photographers that capture everything candidly, without posing you. The fact of the matter, however, is that you will need to be directed by your photographer in order to look your best. A great professional wedding photographer will know how to position you in the most flattering manner, how to make your wedding gown look it’s absolute best and how to squeeze out emotions from even the most quiet and reserved subjects. They can even make you look like you are walking when, actually, you are not! This image was created on the grounds of the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale, NY. This is a fabulous location for wedding photography with the mansion, it’s views of the Great South Bay and the many themed walks around the almost 700 acre parkland. This picture was taken along The River Walk which meanders along the edge of Great River on the east side of the complex. Great wedding photographs don’t just happen by themselves. It is usually the careful direction and technical experience of a veteran wedding photographer working with you to bring out the best in you.
